Falls can come with serious consequences! Did you know that ground-level falls are the leading cause of traumatic injury in our community?

The good news is that we can help! Join Harney District Hospital staff for a FREE Community Fall-Prevention Event Tuesday, February 10, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Harney Hub (17 S. Alder Ave. in Burns).

Prevention saves lives! If you’re experiencing frequent falls (or near falls), don’t wait until it’s too late! Staff from the hospital’s Nursing and Physical Therapy departments will be at Harney Hub on February 10, to provide FREE assessments, help you get assistive equipment (such as a walker, cane, or bathtub bar), and show you how to use it!

You do NOT need a referral from your provider to attend this event!

We may be able to provide assistive devices onsite. If we don’t have what you need, we’ll try to help you get it. This may include using available grant funding and/or getting coverage through your insurance.

You are NOT required to have insurance to participate in this event. NO fees will be charged!
