DESCRIPTION:\nHarney District Hospital is proud to help sponsor Harney County School District #3‘s Community Mental Health Fair. Free and open to the public, this event will be held at Burns High School on Thursday, March 6, 2025.\n\n\n\n• Workshops will be held from 3:45-4:35 p.m. and 4:40-5:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for parents and coaches to learn practical skills!\n\n\n\n• There will also be numerous booths where you can find helpful information and resources.\n\n\n• Harney District Hospital is sponsoring a free taco and nacho bar, which will be served from 5-6 p.m. in the Burns High School cafeteria.\n\n\n\n• Free childcare will be provided.\n\n\n\n• Keynote speaker Eddie Cortés will present “My Life Online,” which teaches students to be safe, smart, and kind online. Keynote speaker and NFL athlete Shamiel Gary will teach students how to be their best selves and build resiliency. The keynote speeches will begin at 6 p.m.\n\n\n\nPlease join us as we team up with community partners to provide valuable mental-health resources to support the well-being of high school students and families throughout our community.\n\n
