Rural Performance Management Tool

Rural Performance Management (RPM) is a web-based program designed for hospital and healthcare systems. It allows patients to 'grade' Harney District Hospital (HDH) on its service through surveys. The results of these surveys are input into the system to be compared against other Critical Access hospitals in Oregon. This allows HDH to determine if their performance objectives are being met and make strategic changes to achieve their goals.

During the month of July, 24 customer comments were included in the Scorecard.

1. Thank you very much for everything.

2. Good experience:)

3. Staff is committed to patient's comfort, very willing to help, quick learners who show much grace. Thanks!

4. Thank you, you ladies were wonderful.

5. Exceptional care as always! (patient added this survey question: "did asst. administrator treat you with respect" and then placed a "very good" mark beside the question.)

6. Dr. Ziegler and Nurse Nancy were so nice. They were very concerned about my daughter and did everything to make her comfortable. A++++ to both Dr. and Nurse Nancy. We got there around shift change but Nurse Nancy immediately took care of my lil' one.

7. Thank you all.

8. Everybody was sweet to me.

9. The print on this page is too small!! Ok, Sherrie - did you shrink this???? Staff was very friendly & personal - ever tolerant of my company. They gave me freedom & didn't hover, but yet were very responsive to my needs. ONE THING - the Bed. Impossible buttons to reach. Pretty annoying...no, very annoying! Thanks for asking!!

10. 95% of nursing staff was exceptional - both aides & nurses. PT staff and swing bed coordination were also excellent. The staff challenged me when I needed it and were also supportive and & understanding when I'd get frustrated or depresses. Jan from the kitchen was VERY good and helped me have good, healthy meals - more so that any ofthe others from the kitchen. Nancy & Diane were incredible nurses who are extremely technically good, but also showed incredible compassion & common sense! Bob, Dee Dee, Carmen, Laurie, Mat, and Amanda were exceptional aides. Those whoare going to be nurses will be excellent! My progress is due to those sterling individuals!

11. Totally satisfied.

12. Appreciated Dr. Haynie waiting for us to arrive & expediting (patient's) care. Everyone was great!

13. All staff was really good!

14. Didn't see a doctor just getting a bug out of the ear and the nurses were wonderful!

15. Very Good!

16. Thanks for the help.

17. We were driving through Oregon and needed treatment. I was treated very professionally. Being from Texas and more than likely won't be back. I think everyone was great to an out of stater!

18. I had great nurses!! Dr. Spence wasgreat. They were great and tried to stay 1 step ahead of my pain. Very comforting. Thank you for everything.

19. Doc Spence is a great doc. Burns is lucky to have him!

20. Everybody was nice and jumped on top of anything I needed. Thanks for taking such good care of our boy!

21. THE VERY BEST OF CARE.

22. My vist & stay was the best.

23. Friendly staff who worked with my daughter to find something appealing when she didn't really feel well. Thanks!

24. All my meals were good. I don't eat much fruit or vegs. Your people in the kitchen are very nice and helpful.
